I really try to update here. It seems life gets in the way. But that is a good thing, no?

I am blessedly. Busy.

Spending time at the creek with our children … and watching our oldest and youngest son enjoy fishing together … and watching our Papa try to keep up with the grandchildren, which he actually can! Not bad for 70+ years old!

Taking care of and partaking of the bounty from our gardens this year.

Taking care of 9 new “babies” in our flock. They are not so little anymore! And their eggs are getting bigger too!

Our blackberries are done for the season and our corn is too, but won’t the freshly-prepared jars be so good this winter!

Spending time with family on the lake for some girl time and at a theme park for some guy time!

 

Swimming on Thursdays at Grammyland Pool, which should probably be called Papaland Pool. 😉

Watching and feeling overjoyed to see our four youngest spending time together at their new CLUB in the barn. 😉

Reading, reading, reading!
