What Happens in Vegas Doesn’t Stay in Vegas

I am in Vegas with the Prez. Why did we come?

I signed up a few months ago for the Teachers Pay Teachers first annual sellers’ conference! Today hasn’t disappointed!

I met THE #DeannaJump!

I went to four conferences. I took many notes, laughed, nodded, agreed, and came away with mental notes of top priorities for my store. Most importantly, I solidified my belief that the sellers of TpT from top seller Deanna Jump down to “little fish” like me are all in this together, and we are helping teachers and their students to learn and grow and reach higher than they imagined!

I met so many people! I wasn’t afraid to ask for pics, but I missed a few. I wish I could have met even more people. The day was jam-packed from the keynote this morning to four different sessions over the course of the day, and ending with a Happy Hour that lasted much longer! The energy has been exhilarating and the pep talk I needed to forge ahead.

Last but not least, the Prez and I with Paul Edelman himself!

The Prez is admittedly starstruck with Paul. The Prez admires the rarity of Paul’s success as a fellow business owner. Truly the growth of TpT is astounding! Humbled to be a part!

I hope you had a great time! It looks like you got to meet a lot of people. Hopefully I can make it out next year. What was your favorite conference session? Thanks for sharing so many photos!

My favorite was probably Rachel’s on marketing, but all of them were so helpful. I also attended Deanna and Dee Dee’s session, Lindsay’s session, and Laura’s session. All were excellent!

Hi Diana, It was so fun! I hope to go back next year! It was kind of overwhelming to take it all in, but I’m so glad I was able to go! I have some more photos I hope to share, but I didn’t take as many as I thought I did. I was so busy taking notes in the sessions I didn’t really get any photos in those. They were great! 🙂 Leslie

Hi Mercedes, Yes I am wearing the tattoo! I didn’t think of that when I updated my pic, but I like that it is there! 😀 As for posting, I have issues sleeping in strange–though the Venetian was dreamy–places, and Vegas was a two-hour time difference for us. I took some zzquil after I posted and it was dreamland then! 😀

It looks like you had a lot of fun! You got a lot of great pictures! I love that you have the TpT tattoo on your arm in your bio pic.. way to represent! 🙂

I know, right? I honestly didn’t think of the tattoo when I changed my profile pic. I just knew I needed a more recent pic and it is rare I have a pic of ME. I tend to be behind the camera but the Prez took this one while we were in Vegas. Tattoo and all! That thing is STILL on my arm. To be honest, I’d love a real one, though I don’t think I’m ready to put TpT on me permanently … yet. Now if I make a million, I think I might! 😉
